Nurse Macy, along with Husson nursing student, Ashley, recently held a "Tick Talk" with Enfield Station School 3rd graders. They discussed the importance of being aware of ticks, the illnesses that they can carry, how to identify them, and how to help protect themselves from them. They had a little friendly competition to see which team could be the first to pack their backpack with the SAFEST choice in clothing when venturing out into the great outdoors!
